All diagnostic facilities undergo a comprehensive assessment according to their scope of service prior to being awarded accreditation.

Accredited non-hospital medical and surgical facilities

The Non-Hospital Medical and Surgical Facilities Accreditation Program attests to the public that:

• the 700 physicians and surgeons who work in private facilities across the province are granted privileges on an annual basis
• all facilities, regardless of the scope of services they provide, undergo a comprehensive review prior to being awarded a term of accreditation
